Established in New York City in 1986, Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is an ardent champion for children, creating program models that meet the complex needs of each family member while fighting tirelessly to ensure all children a safe permanent family, decent housing, high-quality education, adequate health care and sufficient food to grow and thrive.  ABC’s programs are replicable, comprehensive, cost-effective and humane and include the highest quality early childhood education for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, educational advocacy, housing, mental health services, family support and preservation, crisis intervention, therapeutic out-of-school mentoring and summer day camp services for school age children and teens and an outreach program which opens ABC’s doors to the community as a refuge and resource for destitute families in dire need.
